Ingredients:
- wheat flour -3 cups
- beet root(boiled & churned)-2
- spinach(ground)-1/2 cup
- oil
- ajwain a pinch
- salt according to taste
- turmeric-1tsp
- water to knead
- oil for frying
How to make Tiranga Puri :
- Divide flour in 3 parts
- In first part put churned beet root,ajwain,oil(1 tsp),water knead it in soft dough
- In second part put spinach,salt,ajwain,oil& knead this too in dough
- In last part put turmeric,salt,ajwain ,water knead it to dough
- Keep aside covered with wet cloth for 1/2 an hour
- Make pedas (round balls)
- For 1 puri,press 3 pedas of 3 different coloured dough on the edge of eachother so that they make a shape of triangle
- Roll them together& fry puris serve hot puris with chutney,channa or paneer sabji
