Ingredients:
- 6 chapatis ( you can make fresh or can use spared from last meal)
- 1 whole garlic (approx 8-9 flakes)
- 1 small onion
- 2 small tomatoes
- 1/2″ ginger piece
- 2 green chillies
- 1 tbsp edible oil
- red chilli powder according to taste
- 2 pinches turmeric powder
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- green coriander leaves
- 3 cups water
How to make Lehsuni Phulka :
- First of all, we will put garlic flakes, onion chopped, tomatoes, ginger, green chillies & fresh green coriander leaves in a mixer.
- Make a paste of it. Pour oil in a pan with heavy bottom.(cooking pan with cover)
- Now pour this paste in it. fry it till oil comes out.
- Add salt & other masalas. fry it little & take each chapati. spread some chutney on it, fold it in half, again spread chutney & fold it in quarter. keep placing each stuffed chapati in the cooking pan. place chapatis nicely.
- now add water in it & let it boil.(chapatis should be dipped in water)
- After 1-2 boils, keep it on simmer for 8 minutes.
- Turn each chapati. if required,put some water. again let it cook for 7-8 minutes.
- When chapatis get soft, then switch off the gas & serve each chapati piece with small cube of butter on the top.
